the snow is melting into music

Well, hi there blog. It's been quite a while, it's March already? Happy to be back after taking quite a long break focusing on my non-internet self and excited to be sharing these photos. I went road tripping up to Lake Cle Elum and Roslyn today, embracing this sunny weather.

Not smart to wear converse while walking through the snow

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings, Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. As age comes on, one source of enjoyment after another is closed, but nature's sources never fail.

Heybrook Lookout

Yesterday, I went hiking with some friends up to Heybrook Lookout. It was great to get outside & enjoy the January sun. We got lucky with the weather and got to see some amazing views. Above is a photo of Mt. Baring from the top of the fire tower.

Salvation Mountain

Hello! It's been awhile. I meant to post this back when I was in California but never got to it. These are pictures from when I visited Salvation Mountain on New Years Eve day. It was such an amazing place.

This was all hand painted and maintained by Leonard Knight.
